Poole Week 2016 ….!!

Poole Week 21st to 26th August 2016

Parkstone Yacht Club would like to invite all Flying 15 sailors to join us for Poole Week 2016.

Once again we shall be enjoying 2 race days throughout the week with a mix of Olympic triangle and round the harbour courses. The club will be putting on rib trips round the harbour on Saturday/Sunday to highlight to our visitors the more difficult to find race marks. Though racing is predominantly in the harbour, we will be having two races in Poole Bay on the Wednesday. With racing set to start at 1400 each day there will be plenty of time in the mornings to explore some of the beautiful surroundings in the Poole area such as the Jurassic coast, alternatively you could treat yourselves to a lie in!

We currently have 17 Flying 15’s entered and we know a few more that there will be joining us before the end of the discounted entry period on the 8th August. If you are tempted or know of anyone who may be interested in joining us please do persuade them and enter on the http://www.pooleweek.org website.

Thanks to great sponsorship from adidas, LV and the Fencing Centre the club will be providing a free sailors’ supper for all competitors on Sunday night, a free drink each day and an extravagant Rio themed party on Friday night after the prizegiving. Additionally we will be having a daily draw (for all competitors) of 2 x £200 adidas sail clothing vouchers – see the website for the great kit that you could win simply by joining us at the daily prizegiving http://www.catamaransports.com/.

The Parkstone Flying 15 class are also organising a couple of additional social events through the week. Come and join us for a great mix of first class racing, we will ensure a very warm welcome and fabulous sailing!
