How About an Event at Llyn Brenig…??

We would like to invite you to consider Llyn Brenig Sailing Club as a potential venue for future events. Llyn Brenig is a reservoir that straddles the county borders of Denbighshire and Conwy in North Wales. It is only 60 minutes from Liverpool, 90 minutes from Manchester and about two hours from Birmingham. As well as this very accessible location, it is an incredibly beautiful lake with the Hiraethog moors and forests of North Wales as a backdrop. (Our website is http://www.llynbrenigsc.org.uk) · The lake covers 920 acres, is 2.4 miles long and about 1 mile wide. The shoreline is some 14.3 miles. · The sailing club is the highest in Wales. As such, our enviable wind pattern is a great sailing asset. · We have just undertaken a complete renewal of our foreshore launch facilities. We now have 1,000 square meters of concrete launch area, which would easily enable us to launch 100 craft within about fifteen minutes, and this includes two 60-meter slipways and two jetty/pontoons capable of multiple moorings. We also have over 20 on-water moorings. · We currently have 4 RIBs and 2 O boats at the club. · We have a fully equipped galley plus changing rooms with hot showers. By 2016 we also plan to have doubled the footprint of the sailing club. We are in discussion with our landlords Welsh Water on this project, which includes the creation of caravan and motor home dedicated facilities and the building of 12 eco-lodges, as well as additional overflow parking. We have a number of FF boats sailing at Llyn Brenig If you would like further information, please contact me below.
