You see that the bottom ends of the bridle disappear below deck and re-emerge in the cockpit as control lines. So you can adjust the mainsheet bridle while hanging out – and doing your email on your iPhone??!!… I assume they transit the tanks through sealed tubes. Very neat and very clever, but I’m not sure quite how many times you would use it….
I’m reminded that when I was a kid there was a Fireball World Champion named John Caig, or something like that. His boat was famously simple, and when asked why he said, “If I dont use something at least once every two races, I throw it out….”
